Poison my blood

Poison my blood (BE)
www.myspace.com/poisonmyblood

After 3 years of touring and a very well-received demo, Poison My Blood recorded their first album 'Monuments' at the Rape Of Harmonies studios (Heaven Shall Burn, Misery Speaks, ...) in Germany. Their metal-influenced hardcore has now taken a more melodic and progressive turn and today can be compared to bands like Shai Hulud, Twelve Tribes or Misery Signals.

With their debut album 'Monuments' in their back pocket - released 01/01/2009 worldwide through Disobedience & Tornado Music - Poison My Blood has proven that they much more to offer than any other 'metalcore' band!

This five piece is full of ambition and motivation, resulting in steaming and energetic shows. No matter the location, circumstances or whatever: Poison My Blood will go to the fullest. The band is their way to escape from everyday life and do something where they will put their heart and soul in, which results in a very charismatic live show.

So far the band has played and toured in Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands such as Misery Signals, Norma Jean, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, The Chariot, Silverstein, Bane, Strike Anywhere, Horse The Band, The Warriors, Ligeia, Cold As Life, Your Demise, The Banner, Architects, It Prevails, For The Fallen Dreams, Salt The Wound, Machinemade God, Born From Pain and many more!

Heart in hand

Heart in hand (UK)
www.myspace.com/heartinhandband

Heart in hand have stepped out of the standard metalcore mould to try and create a much more diverse, unique and melodic sound to that of their peers.

Despite not forming until late 2008 the band has already shared the stage with US acts such as Killing The Dream, This Is Hell, For The Fallen Dreams and It Prevails and completed three full UK tours alongside UK heavyweights Lower Than Atlantis. Although still in their infancy the band has already racked up over 170,000 plays online and were the only unsigned band chosen to play the sold out GhostFest with Despised Icon, Whitechapel and Your Demise.

Heart In Hand recently released their self titled 6-track EP, recorded at Studio 6 (Bring Me The Horizon, Viatrophy, Annotations Of An Autopsy) with ex-Eternal Lord drummer Stu McKay.

It Prevails

It prevails (USA)
www.myspace.com/itprevails

It prevails is a fucking awesome Hardcore band who will pay us a visit all the way from Denver, USA.

In a world saturated with bands playing heavy music just to be "heavy" or fit a mold, It Prevails sets the bar on an entirely differently plain. Influenced by this life's struggles and hardships. Love and pain. Beauty and patience. It Prevails fits no mold, or even genre. But expands on the music they grew up on alone. Bands ranging from Strike Anywhere and Osker to bands Like Taken and Strongarm. With their brand new album "Capture and Embrace", It Prevails teams up with Rain City records and help from producer Ryan Furlott and mixed / mastered by Beau Burchell (of Saosin) to create quite possibly one of the most genre bending, focused records this generation has seen in years. Sit back and enjoy the work of five friends doing what they love, with no pretense or filler, "Capture and Embrace" pushes the envelope of heavy music in its purest form.

Circle of contempt

Circle of contempt (FIN)
www.myspace.com/circleofcontempt

Circle of contempt is a great Hardcore/Metalcore/progressive Band from Pori, Finland

Only one word can adequately illustrate this Finnish four-piece known as Circle of contempt, intense. The pulse pounding drum kicks and glass shattering vocals assault the listener while the unforgiving guitar licks and bass grooves pound the psyche into submission. At the same time the melodic interludes and harmonious melodies bring a whole different element to the table that significantly compliments Circle of contempt´s more abrasive side. Circle of contempt have received excellent reviews from numerous metal media outlets and are quickly becoming one of the top metal bands in Finland, quickly to expand and conquer worldwide.

A plea for purging

Ok it has come to this, our first booked band for Break fest.

A plea for purging (USA)
www.myspace.com/apleaforpurging

A plea for burging is a awesome Hardcore/Proggressive/2-step band from Tennessee, USA.

A Plea For Purging tour incessantly, over 700 dates in the last 3 years, and has burned through 3 vans and 4 trailers in that time. But it’s no accident that Andy Atkins, Blake Martin, Tyler Wilson, John Wand and Aaron Eckermann have found themselves on the releasing end of a breathtaking follow-up album. Plea’s faith in their craft is indestructible; that is the place from which Depravity is born.
